Roses to Our Library Assistants

Our student assistants do many tasks in the library which make our lives at Lawrence High School better. They put up the newspapers, check in new magazines, check out books, find materials on the shelves, answer questions about electronic resources, run errands and help patrons with computer problems. Student aides help faculty and staff by pulling material from the shelves and making trucks available for students to use in the library or in the classroom. They also "tidy up" the library and help put up displays.

In addition to their work in the library and class schedules, many of them belong to clubs, play sports, and some have outside jobs. If you see these young men and women in the hallway, say "Thank you." They truly make Lawrence High School Library a "Great Place to be a Lion!"
