Teen Read Week @LHS Library
October 13- 19, 2002

As part of Teen Read Week, YALSA partnered with SmartGirl to solicit teen opinion about reading. Teens responded to the survey questions about what, how and why they do or don't read. Results will be released later this winter on YALSA's adolescent literacy site.

During Teen Read Week, YALSA, American Library Association and the LHS Library reminded teens, parents and educators of the importance of reading for pleasure.

Each year, Lawrence High School Library observes Teen Read Week by displaying "Read to Succeed" posters in the library hallway. Check out our 2002-03 slide show.
