Korean American Historical Society
Generally a site for Korean Americans, but worth looking at for its comprehensive list of links to other sites on Korea.

Korean Cultural Service
This site deals mainly with Korean cultural events in New York City but does have links and other general information such as a section on the symbols of Korea.

Korean Government on the Web
Comprehensive database of most governmental institutions: parliament, ministries, offices, law courts, embassies, city councils, banks, political parties, and some travel information.

Korean History Project: "Korea in the Eye of the Tiger"
An online history of Korea with much information.

Korean Video Resources available at KU's East Asian Library
Materials include Korean related videos, cassette tapes, audio tapes, slides, and photos. This is to help students understand East Asia not only through printed materials but also by using their senses to have a taste of the rich East Asia culture. These are excellent classroom teaching materials. Some are suitable for K-12 level social studies. Many series have teacher's guides or booklets for discussion.
